The EFD can be supplied with:
• Locking quadrant for manual operation
• Extended shaft for actuators by others
• Electrical actuator motorising control
The fail-safe spring return actuator is standard, though various other actuators options are available.
Where external space is a constraint, the actuator can be mounted internally within the airstream.
Fusible links are fitted to all fire dampers (manual and motorised) to ensure fail safe operation as links operate independently of the actuator in emergency high duct temperature conditions.
The EFD is suitable for vertical and horizontal installation in walls and slabs.
The EFD has been tested and is certified in both orientations (test reports available on request).
Spigots can be fitted for spiral duct installation.
EFD is also available in 304 and 316 stainless steel.
