APPLICATION

Electrovent ESD Smoke Dampers are smoke protection products used in HVAC installations to contain or extract smoke inside ductwork and buildings.

MATERIALS AND STRUCTURE

The ESD frame and blade is manufactured from galvanised steel as standard.

Blades are installed in the casing with low friction brass bushes and linkages that provide parallel blade operation.

Blade position is indicated from outside of the casing.

Smoke dampers are typically fitted with a spring return actuator to client specifications.

OPTIONS

The ESD is fitted with an electrical spring return actuator.

24V or 220V Optional.

The ESD can be set to spring open or spring closed to respectively exhaust or contain smoke under emergency conditions.

The option for extended shaft is available for fitment of your choice of actuator.

Where external space is a constraint, the actuator can be mounted internally within the airstream. The ESD is suitable for vertical and horizontal installation in walls and slabs. Spigots can be fitted for spiral duct installation Available in 304 and 316 stainless steel on request.

Maximum size in single section 1500mm (w) x 1950mm (h)

Sizes exceeding maximum are combined in sections.

Casing length is 180mm as standard or to client specification.

Flange size is 30mm standard or to client specification.
